For Many Years, I Struggled With This Verse - John 17:21
Until recently , each time I read John 17:21, I thought the key word was, "one." The Lord has now revealed to me that the operative word is not "one,” but "be."
This message of oneness is not new. In the Old Testament, Moses declared, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD...." - Deuteronomy 6:4
However, Moses was not saying, "hear with your ears, but. perceive."
"No wonder Jesus declared in Matthew 7:22, Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
