The Journey

The Help Meet

I have labelled this blog post, "The Journey" because it has indeed been a journey from my Exodus (from my professional career) into the wilderness of ministry, and now today, living in our promise land.

What has remained constant is that woman in red (my wife, at my side).

I believe red is symbolic of the blood of Jesus.

My wife and I have known each other for 40 years (36 yrs marriage, 4 years dating).  She knew the trajectory that I was on in my early professional career. She saw my bonus checks, which at that time was comparable to the annual check of most professionals. Yet, in spite of this, she never questioned me walking away from it all to answer AND follow the call of God on my life to be a voice of Righteous Leadership to Leaders.

What a blessing and gift it is to have a faithful partner supporting, encouraging, loving, exhorting, and caring for you, as you serve and follow Him. I know she is blessed, too.

How critical this ministry is in the times we are living in! Thank you Dr. Ray and Dr. Teri for the major role you are playing in building kingdom leaders. To God be the glory!
